These tenders have ranged from refurbishment, extensions and loft conversions in the north London and Hertfordshire area's.

Contract awarded for new build development 

Contracts have been signed and construction is imminent for the development of 1.25 acre site in Brimsdown Enfield. The £1.1m project on Mollison Avenue will commence early October for the construction of 4 industrial units with easy access to the M25 and A10. This contract award with City Group marks the 3rd successful bid with the group in 2011 with strong ties being forged given our unique brand of project management utilising our Design and Build capabilities.

Maida-Vale Grade II listed building complete 

Practical completion was achieved this week on the complete refurbishment of two Georgian listed buildings. The £1.4m de-conversion which was originally programmed for a 43 week duration came in 2 weeks ahead of time to the delight of the client team at Westminster Council. The properties (formally derelict), have been restored to there original glory by effective project management and working closely with the local authority planning and building control departments.

Councillor Murray commented "These buildings are a blue print for what can be achieved by working closely and professionally together".

Retro-fit for the future complete at Beckton 

The governments Eco-construction pilot properties have been complete on the Warwall Estate in Beckton, East London. Facing new construction methods and un-tested eco-friendly materials WPS has successfully completed the first phase properties. Working closely with architects Penoyre and Prasad the project has gained much deserved praise from all quarters for it's innovation and design. Project Manager David Cole from P&P is confident that these new and innovative methods of construction will prove to be a more sustainable way to refurbish and build for the future.

Wights the builder launches apprenticeship drive 

Managing Director Glenn White with firm assistance from the WPS H.R team have launched a new apprenticeship drive for 2011.

Working with existing clients and the college of north east London the company is seeking to employ further trainees this year to aid and assist in our belief of an organic company skills base.
